Willow Margot

It is with great pleasure that I announce the safe arrival of Willow Margot, Julie and Michaels' new baby daughter who was born 2/11/2015. Such a lovely name Willow and Margot is our late mother's name. A lovely gesture as she died in 1975. All three are doing well and I hear that Michael has taken to being a dad like a duck to water, which is good and certainly not guaranteed at the ripe old age of 45.

Ross and I have only met Willow once, mainly due to my health. They were going to visit us this weekend along with Julie's parents who are visiting from South Africa but cancelled due to the extreme heat.

We look forward to seeing them shortly. Here are some photos.

C'est avec grand plaisir que j'annonce l'arrivée de Willow Margot, la petite de Julie et Michael qui est née le 2 novembre, 2015. Un très joli nom, Willow et Margot, c'est le nom de notre mère défunte qui est morte en '75...donc un très beau geste. Ils vont bien tous les trois et apparement Michael est aux anges et tant mieux car c'est pas garanti à l'âge de 45 ans.

Ross et avons rencontré Willow juste une fois en raison de ma santé. Ils devaient venir nous voir ce week-end avec les parents de Julie qui visitent de l'Afrique du sud, mais ils on dû annuler comme il a fait trop chaud. On espère les voir bientôt....voici des clichés de la petite Willow.

OUR LIVES:

Not much to say....legs becoming very weak and we have ordered an electric wheelchair from the MND resource library so I can follow Ross in the garden without him having to push me everywhere. We are indeed fortunate to be able to borrow these things from MND's resource centre as a new electric wheelchair costs $18,000! He has more than enough physical activities in a day, so I'm looking forward to having a degree of independence and also, not tiring him out so much.

Apart from that I spent six days recently in a hospice, just to try it out and to give Ross a break. Staff and gardens were lovely, so it was fine.

NOS VIES:

Pas grand-chose à dire...mes jambes sont très faibles et nous avons demandé un fauteuil roulant électrique au centre de ressources pour la SLA. On a de la chance de pouvoir emprunter ces choses...un fauteuil neuf électrique coûte $18,000! Ça me permettra de suivre Ross dans le jardin sans qu'il n'ait à me pousser. Il a déjà assez à faire en une journée.

À part cela j'ai passé six jours dans un hospice juste pour essayer and pour donner à Ross du répit. Le personnel et les jardins étaient très bien...donc ça peut aller.

Christmas Eve:

A dear friend is coming on the 24th in the afternoon. Ross and her will eat mains before we go to church. Ross is playing the part of Joseph in a play at church...Mary's hubby, I believe. Then we'll return home and have dessert. As you know, I can't eat, so my only pleasure is knowing they're eating well.

Le réveillon de Noël:

Une chère amie vient le 24 dans l'après-midi. Ross et elle mangeront le plat principal avant d'aller à l'église. Ross participe dans une pièce à l'église où il jouera le rôle de Josèphe, le mari à Mary je crois. Après on rentre et ils prendront le dessert. Comme je ne mange plus, mon seul plaisir, c'est de savoir qu'ils mangent bien.
